The Prophet ﷺ told a companion who sought permission for jihad: “Stay with your mother, for Paradise is beneath her feet” (Sunan Ibn Majah 2781) — and he taught that the pleasure of Allah lies in the pleasure of parents (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 1899). A mother’s dua is a treasure; serving her in her old age is not a burden but an honor Allah chose for us.
